Barcelona Ready for Historic Game at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday

Barcelona have announced they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in domestic competition two and a half years after they moved out so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans can be present under the licence granted. When completed, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. They mentioned they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side in December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
